Some time just over a week ago, spurred on by the wafts of Olympic spirit drifting up the canal to our studio, we decided to illustrate every day of the London 2012 Games. It is proving to be a true test of endurance, our drawing arms are in serious need of physio, but, as Baron de Coubertin said ‘the important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle.’ We’re still catching up with the weekend’s action, but are confident we’ve got a bit left in the tank for the home straight. We can only be ‘lapped’ if we’re still working on it when Rio 2016 comes around, so I think we’re safe of that. We hope you enjoy the work so far! Use the arrows to scroll backwards and forwards.
