Last month, at a point in this dismal summer when we were actually enjoying a spell of sunshine, we spent a week in a dark tent in East London. It was a much better experience than it sounds though – we were at Digital Shoreditch, capturing week two of the festival in the form of a huge map of the local area.The ‘blocks’ between the streets were filled with illustrations of the stand-out soundbites, insights and comments of the week, while the each day – themed Growth, Next, Brands and Play, and concluding with the end of conference Summit – was also given space either side of the map, where we captured an overview.
Our involvement was sponsored by Ogilvy, in what we hope will be the first of many event collaboration. This work will also be appearing on the Ogilvy Notes website very soon.
