More Smithsonian Remote Scribing

This one was for a talk on the Yu’Pik Eskimos of Western Alaska, and all their amazingly decorated, symbolically laden objects. Like the Folkways recordings session before it, this piece has been worked on a fair bit after the hour’s session. Probably getting on for two and half in total. But it’s only really after the event that you have the right perspective to give the whole thing some structure. That’s not so much of an issue when you’re working on a big wall, but in a tight space like this composition becomes really important.
